What's inside Wethod
- The Data Freezing Engine ensures the accuracy and reliability of historical data by allowing users to 'freeze' past periods. Once data is frozen, it becomes permanently non-editable. This is typically used for financial closing (e.g., quarterly or semi-annual statements) to ensure that historical records remain unaltered.

Alerts in Wethod indicate inconsistencies regarding the user. They are categorized by priority via color coding:
- Red: High priority; must be solved as soon as possible.
- Yellow: Low priority; treated as advice.
- Blue: Reminders for minor fixes.
Users can view the specific problem description by hovering the cursor over an alert. Certain alert parameters can be customized in the Alerts Engine settings.
View Weekly Timesheet overviews
The Weekly Timesheet provides a visual overview of teammate timesheets. Each entry is color-coded by the project's Job Order Category. Users can filter by person (top left) or change the displayed week (top right). Clicking a person's name reveals details; users with 'edit other' permissions can navigate directly to a colleague's timesheet page from the details box.Define project foundations using the Project Canvas
The Project Canvas is used to define and document the high-level aspects of a project. It includes:
- Brief: Client needs.
- Concepts: The proposed solution to meet client needs.
- Goals: Key metrics for measuring success and client satisfaction.
- Files: Storage for project documents and presentations.
- Boards: Management tools for tasks to be done.
Users can initiate a "Project & Team Review" from the canvas menu and track average "Kudos" (points from reviews) via a dedicated widget.
Resolve Missing Project Brief or Concept alerts
These alerts ensure project documentation is complete:
- Missing project's brief: Resolve by adding customer needs to the 'Brief' widget on the project's canvas.
- Missing project's concept: Occurs when a project has an approved budget but no concept. Resolve by adding the project proposal to the 'Concept' widget on the project's canvas.
Understand the Order Plan overview and project data
The Order Plan view displays order amounts grouped by project. Each project row provides the project name, Project Manager (PM), and client. It tracks the order's costs for the current year, showing both planned and approved order amounts for each month. Planned orders are defined as those that have been created or sent but not yet approved. If multicurrency functionality is enabled, clicking a project row reveals all currencies used for that project's orders.Manage project timesheets in WETHOD
WETHOD uses a weekly cycle for project tracking. Every Friday, project managers are reminded to compile the Project Status, and collaborators are reminded to compile their Timesheets. Timesheet data is used to calculate actual budget consumption in terms of working hours.Enable and use the Group module for holding company management
The Group module is used to manage multiple companies belonging to the same holding. Enabling this module allows users to view aggregate statistics across all companies and track intercompany work.Manage project budgets in Wethod
The budget section is used to define the resources required for a project, including staffing needs (number of people and experience levels), necessary tasks, external costs, and the final selling price. It is recommended to create a budget once a project reaches 50% probability. Once a budget is approved by a supervisor, the project manager can proceed to planning and creating orders.
