What's inside Pickleball Documentation

  1. Add or edit a Team League description

The Team League description allows you to provide detailed information about a league, such as player types, game types, organizers, fees, dates, times, and venues. This description is publicly visible to anyone viewing the specific team league.

    To manage the description:

    1. Navigate to Team League > Public Pages > Description.
    2. Click the Start typing… placeholder to enable editing.
    3. Enter the description and use the provided paragraph/writing tools for formatting.
    4. Click Save to apply changes. A success notification will appear at the top of the screen upon completion.

Note: Clicking the Reset option will completely clear the current description.

  2. Manage event sanction requests as a governing body

Governing bodies can manage the lifecycle of event sanction requests through the 'Sanctioned & Approved' page. This page provides a centralized view of events categorized by status: Pending, Approved, Declined, and Completed. Each event entry includes the following details:

    • Title: Event title, date, requester's name, phone number, and email address.
    • Type: The type of event.
    • Status: Status tag (Pending, Approved, Completed, or Declined).
    • Level: The event level (e.g., Level 1, Level 2, Level 3).
    • Action: Available actions such as approve or decline.
  3. Configure the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) section title and subtitle

To add or edit the title and subtitle for the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) section on your club's Public page, navigate to Organizations > Public Page > About > Unique Selling Proposition.

    • Title: Enter the text in the Title input area. Maximum length is 75 characters.
    • Subtitle: Enter the text in the Subtitle input area. Maximum length is 75 characters.

Click Save to apply the changes.

  4. Upload a Mission Statement image

To add an image to the Mission Statement section of the club's Public page, navigate to Public Page > About > Mission Statement. You can either drag and drop an image into the section or use the 'Click to Upload' option to select a file from your device. After uploading, you can edit or crop the image before clicking 'Done' and 'Save'. Supported file formats are SVG, PNG, and JPG.
  5. Configure the Standard and Highlighted titles for a club's public page

To set the titles for your club's public 'About' section, navigate to Organizations > Public Page > About > Description.

    • Standard Title: Enter the text in the Standard Title input area. Maximum length is 75 characters.
    • Highlighted Title: Enter the text in the Highlighted Title input area. Maximum length is 75 characters.

Click Save to apply the changes.

  6. Understand the Member Request List data

The Request List section provides a high-level overview of members requesting to join a club with the following data points:

    • Name: Displays the member's name, age, gender, phone number, and email address.
    • Location: Displays the city, state, and country of the applicant.
    • Date of Request: The date the join request was submitted.
  7. Navigate and Export the Affiliation Tree

The Affiliation Tree provides a hierarchical overview of how organizations are linked. The hierarchy typically follows this structure:

    1. United Pickleball Association (Top level/Control)
    2. Region
    3. State
    4. City
    5. Club/Organization

Users can click on a Club/Organization's name within the tree to edit their affiliation details. To download the entire dataset, use the Export option in the top right corner of the screen.

  8. Manage organization payment methods and balance caps

Payment processing is handled by the back-end team, which automatically charges customers' credit cards when they reach a specific balance cap. This cap is managed by developers and is not configurable by the customer. For example, if a club's balance reaches a set limit (e.g., $55 or $2,000), the system automatically charges the account to clear the balance.
