What's inside Integr8

  1. Overview of Low Session Time Anomaly detection

The Low Session Time Anomaly filter automatically detects and blocks publishers or sub IDs that generate a statistically abnormal proportion of ultra-short sessions. This is primarily used to combat bot traffic and automated click injection, where the gap between a click and a conversion is too short to be a real user action. Unlike fixed session time filters, this filter uses dynamic thresholds based on observed traffic patterns and requires a pattern of short sessions rather than a single occurrence to trigger a block.
  2. Overview of Traffic Quality filtering

Traffic quality filters are used to block low-quality or fraudulent traffic sources before they impact data. These filters screen incoming traffic based on three primary criteria: network characteristics (such as ISPs, VPNs, and proxies), session behavior (such as session times), and sub-ID patterns.
  3. Overview of Publisher Sub IDs

Sub IDs allow you to split a publisher's traffic into named segments (e.g., email, social, specific placements, or media buys) without creating separate publisher accounts. Every click and conversion is recorded with the associated sub ID, enabling independent analysis, capping, or blocking of each traffic source.
  4. Overview of Duplicate User Detection

Duplicate User Detection identifies and blocks repeated clicks or conversions from the same user (or bot) within a configurable lookback window. This prevents inflated click counts, false conversion signals, and revenue misattribution. The system maintains a short-term record of identifiers; if a new event matches a stored identifier and exceeds the allowed duplicate count, the event is rejected.
  5. Overview of Fraud Prevention categories

Fraud Prevention allows you to detect and block invalid traffic across four primary categories. Each category utilizes its own specific detection rules and thresholds to identify fraudulent activity:

    • Click Fraud: Prevents invalid clicks on ads.
    • Conversion Fraud: Prevents fake or fraudulent conversion events.
    • Traffic Quality: Filters out low-quality or non-human traffic.
    • Device Fraud: Detects fraudulent device signatures and emulators.
  6. Overview of Integr8 Smart Links

A Smart Link is a single URL used to route incoming traffic to one of several offers based on a defined strategy. It automatically handles routing while respecting each offer's caps, targeting, and fraud rules, eliminating the need to provide publishers with multiple separate links.
  7. Overview of Conversion Throttling in Integr8

Throttling allows you to cap the number of conversions accepted from a publisher on specific offers. This is used to control volume, gradually test traffic, or manage aggressive sources. Throttling can be applied globally to all offers for a publisher, to a single specific offer, or to individual sub IDs.
  8. Overview of Integr8 targeting rules

Targeting rules determine which clicks are eligible to reach an offer. If a click does not match the active rules, it is blocked and redirected to the offer's fallback URL. Targeting can be applied individually per offer or shared across multiple offers via a targeting group. By default, targeting applies to both clicks and conversions.
  9. Overview of VPN and Residential Proxy Detection

The VPN and Residential Proxy Detection filter identifies and blocks traffic from known VPN exit nodes, data center proxies, and residential proxy networks. This prevents fraudsters from masking their real IP addresses, spoofing geographic locations, and automating fake signups or installs. The system cross-references incoming IPs against a database of commercial VPN providers, hosting/cloud infrastructure (data center IPs), and consumer devices conscripted into proxy networks.
  10. Overview of Compliance Checks for referrer filtering

Compliance Checks automatically reject traffic from non-compliant referrer domains to ensure adherence to partner agreements, legal requirements, and brand safety standards. It scans the referrer URL of each request and rejects traffic if the domain matches blocked content categories (via AI-powered classification) or specific keyword patterns.
  11. Overview of offer-level fraud detection

Offer-level fraud detection in Integr8 allows you to apply filter groups to all clicks, conversions, or impressions on a specific offer. These filter groups contain rules for IP reputation, fingerprint matching, and device anomalies. A single filter group can be created once and assigned to multiple offers.
  12. Configure billing and payment methods for a publisher

Publisher billing information must be configured for payout data to be processed and for the publisher to appear in the payments overview. Billing can be set up during the publisher creation wizard or via the publisher settings.

To configure billing for an existing publisher:

    1. Navigate to Partners > Publishers Management and select the publisher.
    2. Go to the Settings tab and open the Billing section.
    3. Specify the Currency for payouts.
    4. Enter the Tax ID or VAT Number and the VAT % (use 0 if not applicable).
    5. Select a Payment Method and provide the required details:
      • Tipalti: Recommended for international publishers; supports ACH, wire, PayPal, SEPA, SWIFT, and virtual cards.
      • PayPal: Requires the publisher's PayPal email address.
      • Wire Transfer: Requires the publisher's bank account details.
    6. Click Save.
