  1. Overview of Scheduled Accounting in 小花记账

    Scheduled Accounting (定时记账) allows users to automate recurring financial entries. This feature is available from version 2.0.8. It can be configured by navigating to [My] (我的) -> [Automation] (自动化) -> [Scheduled Accounting] (定时记账).

    User Limits:

    • Supreme Members (至尊会员): Can create up to 100 scheduled tasks (including enabled, disabled, and hidden states).
    • Standard Users (普通用户): Can create up to 1 scheduled task for free.

  2. Manage budget limits and access in Xiaohua Accounting

    Budget creation is available starting from version 2.2.0. Access limits depend on membership status: Supreme Members (至尊会员) can create up to 20 budgets, while regular users can create up to 1 budget for free. Note that if 'Include in Budget' (计入预算) is disabled for a specific ledger, that ledger's data will be excluded from budget calculations without affecting other ledgers or shared users.

  3. Record expenses using voice input in Xiaohua Bookkeeping

    To use voice-to-text for bookkeeping on Android: click the voice button on the bottom left or long-press the bottom area. Due to Android system limitations, the bookkeeping content must be spoken within 3 seconds. Note: The app does not store source audio files; voice recognition is handled by the Android system internal interface.

  4. Hide a ledger from the list

    Hiding a ledger removes it from the management list but does not delete the data. Hidden ledgers still contribute to home page queries and statistical calculations. This setting is local to each user; if a ledger is shared, one user can hide it without affecting others.

    How to hide: Navigate to My -> Ledger Management -> Select the ledger -> More -> Hide Ledger.

  5. Use fuzzy search for notes in Xiaohua Accounting

    Starting from version 2.1.1, Xiaohua Accounting supports fuzzy search for notes. This is a Supreme Member exclusive feature.

    Usage: Click the search button and enter the note content to perform a fuzzy search.

    Note: As of version 2.1.2, the fuzzy search button is only displayed if the 'Automatic Note Suggestions' feature is enabled.

  6. Manage and hide Scheduled Accounting tasks

    Since version 2.1.0, users can hide scheduled accounting tasks to keep the main task list clean. Hidden tasks are moved to a dedicated 'Hidden' page accessible via the function menu in the top right corner of the Scheduled Accounting screen. This is particularly useful for tasks that are temporarily disabled but should not be deleted.

  7. Enable Automatic Bookkeeping in Xiaohua Jizhang

    Automatic Bookkeeping (available since v2.3.0) allows the app to recognize payment information from third-party apps via screen reading or notification reading and trigger a floating window for quick entry. To enable it, navigate to 【My】-【Automation】-【Automatic Bookkeeping】.

    Required permissions for the feature to function:

    • Accessibility (Required)
    • Display over other apps (Required)
    • Notification access (Required if using Notification Reading mode)
    • Allow background running (Required)

  8. Set up budget notifications

    Budget reminders can be enabled to send a notification once a specific percentage of the budget is reached. To prevent notification fatigue, the system sends only one reminder per budget within a single natural cycle (weekly or monthly).

  9. Enable and configure automatic note suggestions in Xiaohua Accounting

    Starting from version 2.0.3, Xiaohua Accounting supports automatic note suggestions. When entering a note during bookkeeping, the app suggests frequently used notes based on the entered amount and category.

    Membership Requirements:

    • Supreme Members: Unlimited suggestions.
    • Standard Users: 100 free suggestions.

    Configuration Steps: Navigate to [My] -> [Automation] -> [Note Suggestions] to enable the feature and select the number of suggestions to display.

  10. Share a ledger with friends

    Supreme Members can share a ledger with up to 5 friends. Shared users have full permissions to view, delete, modify, and add entries within that ledger.

    Sharing Process:

    1. Owner: Go to My -> Ledger Management -> Select ledger -> Share with Friends. A sharing code will be generated.
    2. Friend: Go to My -> Ledger Management -> Click the share button (top right) -> Enter the sharing code.

    Constraints:

    • Sharing codes are valid for 15 minutes and can only be used once.

  11. Use Free-form Chat Bookkeeping to record expenses

    Available since v2.8.0, Free-form Chat Bookkeeping allows users to automatically generate bills by providing consumption amounts and categories via voice or text. The system uses a large language model to identify and extract bookkeeping information. Users should verify the generated entries as AI recognition may occasionally be inaccurate.

  12. Create and manage multiple ledgers

    Xiaohua Accounting allows users to create multiple ledgers to separate different types of accounts (e.g., home renovation, travel, or shared accounts).

    Limits:

    • Supreme Members: Up to 100 ledgers.
    • Standard Users: Up to 2 ledgers.

    How to create: Navigate to My -> Ledger Management and click the Add Ledger button.
