What's inside OTOO WMS

  1. Manage Item-specific Locations in WMS

The Item-specific Location feature allows you to register designated locations for specific items within a warehouse. When a location is registered for an item, that location is automatically applied during the relevant WMS process. The system tracks three types of locations: Storage Location (보관로케이션), Picking Location (피킹로케이션), and Picking Complete Location (피킹완료로케이션).
  2. Generate and print shipping invoice numbers

The Invoice Number Issuance screen [P200316] allows printing invoices via courier integration based on picking units. Before printing, a courier customer ID must be registered in the 'Courier Management' screen. The process follows these steps: 1. Address Refinement, 2. Invoice Number Generation, 3. Invoice Printing.
  3. Create and configure a Warehouse in WMS

The Warehouse function is used to create and set management standards for warehouses managed within the WMS. New warehouses are registered using the '+' button at the bottom right of the screen.

    Required Fields:

    • Warehouse Code (창고코드): A unique identifier for the warehouse. It supports Korean characters. Note: This cannot be modified after creation.
    • Warehouse Name (창고명): The name of the warehouse. This can be modified after creation.
    • Zip Code and Address (우편번호 및 주소): Search for the address using the magnifying glass icon to auto-populate these fields.

    Optional/Configuration Fields:

    • Warehouse Type (창고유형):
      • Physical Warehouse (실물창고): A real physical location.
      • Virtual Warehouse (가상창고): A system-level logical warehouse used for separating inventory such as returns, defective items, temporary receiving, or delivery standby.
    • Address Details (주소상세): Specific location details within the address.
    • Default Locations: You can specify default locations for various operations. If a default receiving location is set, items completed for receiving are automatically assigned there until moved via a put-away task.
      • Receiving Location (입고로케이션)
      • Picking Location (피킹로케이션)
      • Picking Completed Location (피킹완료로케이션)
      • Return Location (반품로케이션)
      • Cancellation Location (취소로케이션)
      • Processing Location (가공로케이션)
    • Remarks (비고): Additional reference notes.
  4. Generate and print invoice numbers

The Invoice Number Issuance screen [P200316] (located under Outbound Management > Invoice Management) allows printing invoices via courier integration based on picking work units.

Prerequisite: The courier customer ID must be registered in the 'Courier Management' screen before printing.

    Workflow:

    1. Address Purification
    2. Invoice Number Generation
    3. Invoice Printing
  5. Create warehouse locations in OtooWMS

Warehouse locations can be created using three different methods:

    1. Individual Entry: Click the + button in the bottom right to enter location details manually.
    2. Bulk Excel Upload: Use the Upload button to import multiple location records via an Excel file.
    3. Bulk Generation: Select the desired Zone, Row, Column, and Tier (Level), then click the LOC 생성 (Create LOC) button to generate locations in bulk based on the specified range.
  6. Issue shipping invoice numbers

The Invoice Number Issuance screen [P200316] prints invoices via courier integration based on the picking work unit. Before printing, a courier customer ID must be registered in the 'Courier Management' (택배사관리) screen. The process follows these three steps: 1. Address Refinement (주소정제), 2. Invoice Number Generation (송장발번), and 3. Invoice Printing (송장출력).
  7. Process outbound shipments in Oto WMS

The Outbound Processing screen [P200301] allows users to manage shipment information. If Order Management was used, shipment data is pre-registered. Otherwise, users can manually register shipment information using the 'New' (신규) button or bulk upload via the 'Upload' (업로드) button. Selecting a registered shipment and clicking the 'Picking' (피킹) button generates a picking list and allocates the corresponding stock, removing it from the available quantity.
  8. Manage purchase prices by item

The 'Purchase Price by Item' feature allows users to input and manage the purchase costs of items based on specific date ranges.

    Key input fields include:

    • Start Date (시작일자): The date when the specific purchase price becomes effective.
    • End Date (종료일자): The date when the purchase price expires. If the end date is unknown, set it to 9999-12-31. If a new purchase price is created with a later start date, the system automatically updates the previous record's end date to the day before the new start date.
    • Purchase Price (매입단가): The cost value for the item during the specified period.
  9. Confirm outbound shipments to deduct inventory

Use the Shipment Confirmation screen [P200340] (located under Outbound Management > Outbound Management) to confirm shipments that have completed the picking process. Confirming the shipment deducts the allocated (work-in-progress) quantity from the total inventory.
