What's inside Famedly

  1. Overview of Famedly's decentralized healthcare communication

Famedly is a decentralized networking solution for the healthcare industry designed to replace inefficient communication methods (like fax and phone queues) with secure, privacy-compliant, chat-based information exchange. Unlike centralized proprietary solutions, Famedly provides each facility with its own server, ensuring absolute data sovereignty for the organization while allowing intersectoral connection to other institutions via encryption algorithms. It supports integration with primary systems, digital health solutions, and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) through open interfaces and standard file formats.
  2. Overview of Famedly communication platform

Famedly is a secure, privacy-compliant communication platform designed for medical professionals. It enables chat-based information distribution both within a single care provider and between different providers. It is used for general colleague collaboration as well as time-critical medical processes, such as thrombectomy transfers between clinics.
  3. Understand Famedly Group Chats

Famedly uses group chats to organize conversations between multiple people, facilitating topic-based collaboration and team coordination. Because Famedly is based on the Matrix Communication protocol, users of other Matrix-compatible clients can be added to these group chats.
  4. Manage the Approval List for TI Messenger

The Approval List is used to authorize contacts in the TI Messenger. If both users belong to the same organization or both have a registered eHBA card, they do not need to be added to the Approval List and can start a chat directly. Otherwise, users must mutually add each other to their respective Approval Lists using either a QR code or a User ID.
  5. Understand Famedly Groups and Matrix Integration

Famedly uses group chats to organize conversations between multiple people, facilitating team collaboration and task distribution. Because Famedly is based on the Matrix communication protocol, users of other Matrix-compatible clients can be added to these group chats.
