Travel payments involve four primary actors:
- Traveller: The end-user purchasing the service. Responsible for selecting services and providing payment details.
- Customer (You): The entity enabling the booking. Responsible for collecting payment details and ensuring industry-standard practices (e.g., 3DSecure).
- Duffel: The intermediary. Responsible for the secure and compliant handling of payment data and relaying it to the supplier or paying on the customer's behalf.
- Travel Supplier: The airline or hotel. Responsible for processing the final payment.

- Duffel Cars: Access to 40+ global car rental providers across 40,000+ locations.
Overview of Order Change Requests
An order change request is used to modify an existing paid order. It specifies which slices of the current order should be removed and provides search criteria for new slices to be added as replacements.Overview of Payment Intents
A Payment Intent is used to collect and capture a payment from a customer to top up your Duffel balance, which can then be used to pay for offers, orders, or order change offers. This process allows you to include a markup on the payment.
Note: Duffel is currently not accepting new customers for this product. If you have test mode access, verify with your Duffel contact that you are eligible for live mode before integrating.

Key constraints:
- Batch requests expire after one minute and must be consumed promptly.
- After expiration, offers can still be retrieved using the specific offer request ID via the standard offer request endpoint.
