What's inside ZinkERP
- The Administration section manages the master data used across the entire ERP. This includes contacts (buyers and sellers), products (commercialized items), users and profiles (system operators), and fiscal or pricing parameters. It is recommended to configure these settings before operating the system at scale.
Overview of Zink ERP POS (Point of Sale)
The POS is designed for rapid sales, typically for counter service or immediate attention. Unlike the full sales flow (Quote → Budget → Order → Sale), the POS allows users to load products, collect payment, and generate a sale in a single operation. It is optimized for speed, high volume, and cash control. It is also referred to as 'punto de venta', 'venta rápida', 'venta de mostrador', or 'venta a Consumidor Final'.Overview of the Purchase process in Zink ERP
Purchases represent the final stage of the procurement process. They are used to record operations with suppliers, increase stock levels, and impact the supplier's current account. A purchase can be generated from an existing Purchase Order (Orden de Compra) or registered directly as a standalone operation.Overview of Current Account (Cuenta Corriente)
The Current Account tracks the balance and movements for each contact, specifically how much customers owe the business and how much the business owes to providers. It is automatically updated by sales, purchases, payments, and notes. It serves as the primary tool for debt control and should not be confused with the daily cash flow (Caja diaria), as it represents debt rather than physical cash on hand.Overview of the Zinkerp Reports Center
The Reports Center (Centro de informes) is a centralized hub for all reports enabled for a user's profile. It allows users to search for reports by name, pin favorites (stored locally in the browser), and access reports via individual cards. Most reports support filtering by date, organization, and contact, with options to export or print results.Overview of ARCA Electronic Invoicing in Argentina
Electronic invoicing in Argentina allows the issuance of digital fiscal vouchers authorized by ARCA (the national tax agency that replaced AFIP). To operate correctly, a system must use valid fiscal data and authorized services linked to the entity's CUIT. Key operational requirements include maintaining accurate fiscal data, numbering, points of sale, customer records, and product catalogs.Overview of ARCA Electronic Invoicing Setup
To enable electronic invoicing in ZinkERP, a three-step process is required. This process does not require sharing your fiscal password (clave fiscal).
- ARCA Portal Actions: Create a new point of sale and delegate the Electronic Billing service to Zink in Tech.
- ERP Configuration: Enter fiscal data in ZinkERP under Preferences → Integrations → ARCA.
- Support Notification: Notify ZinkERP support with your CUIT, point of sale number, and confirmation of delegation to enable emission.
Overview of the Daily Cash dashboard
The Daily Cash (Caja Diaria) dashboard is a financial control panel that displays the business's financial status for a specific date. It consolidates data from sales, purchases, payments, income, expenses, and fiscal movements. It is used to monitor available cash, track income/expenses, and ensure the business is operating correctly financially. Note that the Daily Cash dashboard is a read-only consolidation; it does not record movements itself but reads data generated from other modules.Overview of Document Form V2
The Document Form V2 is the redesigned shared interface used for several commercial modules, including Purchase Orders, Purchases, Quotations, Budgets, Orders, and Sales. Note that the POS (Point of Sale) uses a different interface and is not covered by this V2 form documentation.Overview of Facturante integration for ZinkERP
Facturante is a provider that enables the issuance of electronic invoices from ZinkERP. Note that this is legacy documentation for organizations that already had Facturante configured; new users should use the native ARCA integration. The integration allows organizations to prepare electronic invoicing by organizing fiscal data and submitting it via an integration assistant.Understand the Zink ERP financial workflow
Zink ERP manages money through a three-level flow:
- Current Account (Debt): Automatically generated by sales (customer debt) and purchases (provider debt).
- Payments (Cancellation): Used to collect from customers or pay providers, which updates the current account and records the payment method.
- Cash (Real Money): The Daily Cash register reflects available money, fed by payments, manual incomes, and manual expenses.
Standard Flow: Sale/Purchase $\rightarrow$ Current Account $\rightarrow$ Payment $\rightarrow$ Cash.
Manual Incomes and Expenses bypass the current account and are used for movements outside the main sales/purchase circuit.
Zink ERP Business Owner Overview
The Zink ERP business owner role focuses on validating system configuration, ensuring sales and purchases impact the system correctly, verifying that stock and cash reflect real operations, and managing team permissions and processes.
