https://docs.treasurenet.ioDocumentation for Treasurenet, a high-performance blockchain utilizing a proof-of-stake (POS) mechanism. Includes guides for running validator nodes using the treasurenetd CLI, staking UNIT tokens, configuring sentry node architectures, and developer resources for localnet deployment and TN-Gateway connectivity.
What's inside Treasurenet
- Treasurenet is a public blockchain using a BFT consensus protocol based on PoS, built on Tendermint Core and Cosmos-SDK. The network secures itself through a set of active validators who participate in consensus voting. Active validators are selected based on the total amount of staked on-chain assets, which is the sum of the validator's own staked assets and the assets delegated to them by other users. Rewards (block rewards and transaction fees) and penalties (for violating consensus rules or node instability) are shared between the validator and their delegators.
Overview of Treasurenet's value capture mechanism
Treasurenet is designed to reward productive real-world activities on-chain. The system functions by capturing, verifying, and transforming real-world activity into blockchain-native value.Overview of Treasurenet Proof-of-Stake Mechanism
Treasurenet employs a proof-of-stake (PoS) mechanism to secure the network and incentivize participants. This system is designed to ensure that value minted from real-world work is backed by verifiable output and distributed via a secure, decentralized process.Overview of Treasurenet Protocol and $UNIT Token
Treasurenet Protocol is a Layer 1 blockchain that integrates digital and physical economies by creating an on-chain economic system based on real-world rare assets. It utilizes a hybrid medium of stored value called the $UNIT token to establish a unified WEB3 financial system, providing a decentralized, audited, and transparent method for interacting with real-world assets (RWA) while ensuring ownership and privacy.Overview of Treasurenet's verified real-world activity model
Treasurenet is a network designed to bring verified real-world production and activity on-chain. While the initial focus is on the energy sector (specifically oil and gas), the network is designed to support any quantifiable, time-bound, and market-valued activity. Examples of compatible production include oil and gas flow rates, Bitcoin mining hash proofs, solar farm kilowatt-hours, and digital infrastructure bandwidth metrics.Overview of treasurenetd CLI
treasurenetd is an all-in-one command line interface tool used for wallet management, querying the blockchain, and performing transaction operations. You can check the installed version or access help documentation using the following commands.# Check version treasurenetd version # Get help information treasurenetd -hOverview of TreasureNet production data automation tools
Automation tools are used to streamline the daily upload of production data to the blockchain, replacing the need for manual certified transactions. These tools are designed to handle repetitive daily output uploads and can be customized by developers to fit specific data center structures. Note that these tools target specific data structures and may not be applicable to all production storage databases.Overview of the Otter capital formation engine
Otter is Treasurenet’s native decentralized protocol for capital formation. It enables producers to raise capital and contributors to earn yield by investing directly in real-world productivity, replacing traditional banking intermediaries with on-chain reputation and verified work.Understand the Treasurenet productivity validation flow
Treasurenet uses a modular pipeline to convert real-world productivity into REP scores. The process follows these steps:
- Producers submit output data through the TN Gateway.
- Asset Data Modules process the data using industry-specific logic to calculate value and confirm authenticity.
- Oracles pull public benchmarks and real-time price data to cross-verify claims against third-party records (e.g., EIA, chain logs).
- Upon successful verification, a REP Score is minted as a reward via a smart contract.
Understand the UNIT token issuance and asset-based model
UNIT is the native token of Treasurenet, issued at the base layer to facilitate fundamental operations. Unlike traditional POS tokens, UNIT is an 'asset-based' currency where issuance is positively correlated with the production of real-world rare assets and rare digital assets. This creates a real-world cost floor for minting that extends beyond computing expenses, aiming for greater stability and liquidity by tying supply to the natural difficulty of creating new real-world assets.Understand Treasurenet's private data protection and REP Score verification
Treasurenet allows Producers to mint a REP Score based on production data without exposing sensitive operational details (such as physical site locations or identities) to the public.
During the onboarding process, specific details are temporarily shared with the Treasurenet Foundation for KYB (Know Your Business) review. Once verification is complete:
- Personally identifiable information (PII) is deleted.
- Remaining metadata is hashed and stored off-chain.
- On-chain audits are performed exclusively on hashed data, ensuring that no smart contract or public observer can trace a REP score back to a specific identity or location.
Producers maintain full control over what operational details they choose to disclose.
Understand asset privacy requirements for RWAs in Treasurenet
In the Treasurenet ecosystem, Real World Assets (RWAs) require a balance between transparency for auditing and privacy for security. While asset productivity is recorded live and audited to mint$REPtokens, sensitive information—such as the physical location of the asset and the identities of physical owners—should be protected to avoid security risks or complications. Producers have the autonomy to decide which sensitive details to disclose, provided they adhere to the regulations of their respective jurisdictions.
