What's inside Sweet Home for Vantage

  1. Overview of Sweet Home for Vantage

Sweet Home for Vantage is a management, control, and monitoring application for Vantage Infusion automation systems, compatible with iOS, tvOS, and Android devices. It is specifically intended for Vantage installers. All graphics and programming interfaces must be created using the Infusion Design Center.
  2. Create a touchscreen interface in Vantage Design Center

To build an interface for Sweet Home for Vantage, use the Vantage Design Center software. Add a Generic TPT touchscreen to start designing.

Caveat: If your design requires the Set LCD Page procedure, you must use a TPT 1210 touchscreen inherited from Design Center 3.2 instead of the Generic TPT. Existing touchscreens can be converted into TPT touch devices.

  3. Package and Export Portrait Graphics ZIP file

After exporting the graphics from the designer, the files must be organized into a specific ZIP structure before being imported into the app. The ZIP must contain a top-level folder named portrait containing the images and the configuration file.

  4. Activate a license ticket in Sweet Home Operator Mode

To activate a license ticket on a device, ensure the device has an active internet connection and provide the following details in the Ticket Activation screen:

    1. Ticket Code: The unique code for the license you wish to activate.
    2. Email Address: The email address associated with your username on www.sweethomeforvantage.com.

After entering the details, click Activate License. A confirmation message will appear upon successful registration and activation.

Constraint: Each ticket can only be associated with one single device.

  5. Create a task to send a push notification

To trigger a notification, create a new Vantage task using the following configuration:

    1. Procedure: Select the Send procedure.
    2. SMS Device: Select the SH5 Send Notification driver instance.
    3. Phone Number: Instead of a number, enter one of the following priority keywords: info, warning, or alarm.
    4. Message: Enter the text content of the notification.

To verify the setup, connect to the Vantage Infusion controller, program the changes, and use the "Test" button on the created Task.

  6. Import graphics into the Sweet Home mobile app

There are three methods to import the graphics ZIP file into the app. In all methods, navigate to the Systems settings page and select the target system.

    1. Sweet Home Cloud: Upload the ZIP to the system page on the Sweet Home website (via the Licenses page cloud icon). In the app, tap DOWNLOAD GRAPHICS. (Requires license activation first).
    2. Local File Manager: Store the ZIP in the device's file manager (e.g., the Files app on iOS). In the app, tap SELECT GRAPHICS and choose the file.
    3. iTunes (Legacy): Rename the ZIP file to system1.zip, system2.zip, etc., based on the system index. Import via iTunes, then restart the app.
  7. Import custom fonts into Sweet Home 5.x

To add custom fonts to your graphics for use in the Sweet Home mobile app (iOS and Android), you must include a Fonts directory in your graphics zip package. Only .ttf files are supported. The Fonts directory must be at the same level as the Images directory and the LcdConfig.xml file.

  8. Design Portrait Graphics using Touchscreen Designer

To create portrait-mode graphics, use a Generic TPT object with a specific resolution and the portrait background frame as a visual guide:

    1. Add a Generic TPT object to the Design Center project from the Vantage Objects tab.
    2. Set the resolution of the Generic TPT object to 1920x1280.
    3. In the Touchscreen Designer, select the 19.5:9 frame background (imported during the background setup step) to use as a reference for the design.
