What's inside Statotest

  1. Overview of Construction View

Construction View allows you to place live sensor values directly on images or schematics of a Construction. Each uploaded image maintains its own independent layout of "value rectangles." The data displayed (parameters, coefficients, unit conversions, and filtering) is identical to the data seen in the Charts section of the portal.
  2. Overview of the Statotest monitoring system

Statotest is a monitoring system designed for the technical safety of structures such as bridges, buildings, halls, and retaining walls. It utilizes sensors to continuously measure structural behavior, collecting and analyzing data for long-term evaluation. The ecosystem consists of three primary components:

    1. Web Portal: Used for managing Organizations, Constructions, Measurement Points, and Devices, as well as analyzing data via charts, exports, and reports.
    2. Mobile App: Used for field operations, including connecting to devices via Bluetooth, configuration, and reading measurements.
    3. Hardware: Includes sensors and gateways such as Dynasense, GeoSnake, and StatoBox, covering wiring, commands, and integration.
  3. Overview of the Notifications system

The Notifications system is used to detect missing data and notify relevant personnel. It consists of two primary components:

    • Watchdogs: Per-data-type thresholds that trigger a notification when no data arrives for a specified period.
    • Alert subscriptions: Configuration of who receives notifications via email and/or SMS, which can be optionally scoped per data type.
  4. Overview of Statotest web portal capabilities

The Statotest web portal serves as the central management hub for the following entities and tasks:

    • Entity Management: Manage Organizations, Constructions, Measurement Points, and Devices.
    • Data Collection: Assign devices to measurement points to begin collecting data.
    • Analysis: Explore measurements using charts with filters and export data in CSV, XLS, or JSON formats.
  5. Navigate the Alerts interface

Access the Alerts section via the left menu. The page displays a summary of all alerts and individual cards for each Organization you have access to. Clicking Show on an Organization card expands it to reveal four tabs:

    • Overview: Summary of active, acknowledged, and resolved alerts, including a list of currently active ones.
    • Rules: Interface to create and manage what is watched, the trigger conditions, and the recipients.
    • History: A log of raised alerts, including timestamps, values, and notification records.
    • Templates: Configuration for the text of e-mail and SMS notifications, including language versions.
  6. Understand graph behavior and controls in the mobile app

Graphs in the mobile app display measured values using the same parameters and filtering as the web portal. Each graph is tied to a specific measurement channel and data type. Available controls include:

    • Hiding the data channel for a specific data type.
    • Enlarging the graph to full screen width to better overview data, focus on specific sections, or pan along the time axis in zoomed-in mode.
    • Accessing graph statistics.
  7. Understand Measurement Point (MP) information display

The MP information screen provides a summary overview of a selected Measurement Point. It displays the following technical and administrative details:

    Device Identification & Status

    • Device name, type, and Bluetooth device name (used for identification during scanning).
    • Bluetooth password (used for initial pairing).
    • Device status and Battery status (percentage).
    • Current Humidity and Temperature measured from the device box.

    Firmware & Hardware

    • Currently loaded firmware version and the date of the last update.
    • Device serial number.

    MP Metadata

    • Measurement Point description.
    • Number of uploaded images (e.g., installation photos, documentation).
    • Latitude/longitude coordinates (tapping these shows the location on a map).
    • Date the MP was added and the date it was last updated.
  8. Understand Statotest device statuses

Devices in the Statotest cloud are categorized into two states based on their assignment to a Measurement Point:

    • Available: The device is registered under an Organization but is not currently assigned to any Measurement Point.
    • Assigned: The device is assigned to a Measurement Point, and data is being uploaded to the cloud for that specific point.
  9. Use the Web Portal Dashboard for system overview

The Dashboard provides a unified overview of all Organizations, Constructions, Measurement Points, and Devices that the user has access to. No prior selection is required to view this data, as it automatically aggregates information across all accessible Organizations.

    Key capabilities include:

    • Monitoring global counts for Organizations, Constructions, Measurement Points, and Devices via summary widgets.
    • Visualizing active devices attached to Measurement Points on a map.
    • Reviewing Organization-level status and expanding views into specific Constructions.
    • Exploring Measurement Points within a Construction to check device status and last communication timestamps.
    • Navigating directly to Charts to analyze measured data.
  10. Configure time ranges for marker occurrences

The Markers Overview loads occurrences based on a selected time window. The default range is the last 30 days.

    Preset Ranges:

    • Week: Last 7 days
    • Month: Last 30 days
    • 3 Months: Last 90 days
    • Year: Last 365 days

Custom ranges can be set using the date and time pickers; the list reloads automatically upon change.

  11. Understand marker occurrence result indicators

When viewing results in the Markers Overview, the following indicators are used:

    • Global badge: Indicates a platform-wide marker.
    • Ignored badge: Indicates the occurrence is marked to exclude its data from calculations (e.g., during sensor recalibration).
    • Occurrence count: Displayed as X× (e.g., 5×).
    • Time format: Point markers show a timestamp; range markers show a from → to range.
