What's inside Lacunabot

  1. Track moderation events using the LacunaBot moderation log

The LacunaBot moderation log records the following administrative actions to a designated channel: bans and unbans, server kicks, mass message purges, issuing and removing mutes, and issuing and removing warnings.
  2. MessageAttachment properties reference

The MessageAttachment object contains metadata about a file attached to a message. It includes the following properties:

    • .contentType: The MIME type of the attachment. (String | null)
    • .description: A description of the attachment. (String | null)
    • .id: The unique identifier for the attachment. (String)
    • .name: The filename or title of the attachment. (String)
    • .spoiler: Indicates whether the attachment is marked as a spoiler. (Boolean)
    • .url: The direct link to the attachment file. (String)
  3. LacunaBot feature overview

LacunaBot provides the following core functionalities:

    • Activities: Experience and currency earning through server activity, rewards, and leaderboards.
    • Moderation: Moderation commands, auto-moderation, action logs for tracking moderator activity, and a report system for users.
    • Notifications & Subscriptions: Integration with Telegram, Twitch, and YouTube to notify users of new posts, videos, and streams.
    • Music: Audio playback in voice channels supporting Spotify, SoundCloud, Yandex Music, and various radio stations.
    • Utility: Interactive messages and reactions, temporary voice channels, automatic role assignment, and custom commands.
  4. User Data Rights and Requests

Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:

    • Access and Deletion: Request information about their data, request deletion, or suspend processing (subject to legal or fraud prevention requirements).
    • Objection: Object to data processing for specific purposes.
    • Data Portability: Obtain a copy of personal data in a machine-readable format.
    • Automated Decisions: Contest decisions made by algorithms and request human intervention.

For inquiries or to exercise these rights, users should contact the official support server on Discord.

  5. Access Member data type properties

The Member object contains the following properties used to retrieve server-specific information about a participant:
    interface Member {
avatar: string; // URL to the member's avatar
joinedTimestamp: number; // Timestamp of when the member joined the server
      nickname: string | null; // The member's server-specific nickname
pending: boolean; // Whether the member is still pending (e.g., membership screening)
permissions: string[]; // List of permissions granted to the member
roles: Role[]; // List of roles assigned to the member
user: User; // The underlying User object
voice: VoiceState; // The member's current voice channel state
    }
  6. Enable notifications for potentially unwanted users

When the "Уведомлять о присоединении потенциально нежелательных пользователей" (Notify about joining of potentially unwanted users) option is enabled in the control panel, LacunaBot monitors new members. If a joining user has a history of reports, the bot sends a notification to the same channel configured for server reports.

    The notification includes:

    • Total number of reports against the user.
    • Number of reports received in the last 24 hours and last 7 days.
    • Details of the most recent reports, including timestamps and reasons.
  7. Understand the Member data type

The Member data type represents a participant within the context of a specific Discord server. Unlike the User data type, which treats a user as an independent entity, the Member type includes server-specific metadata such as roles, nicknames, and server join timestamps.
  8. Music player features and Spotify support

The music player now automatically updates when playing the next track in the queue. It includes a playback stop button and supports Spotify links.
  9. Configure dynamic Banner Rotation in LacunaBot

The 'Banner Rotation' feature allows you to supplement your server banner with additional information. The banner image is automatically updated when specific server events occur: a user joins, a user leaves, a message is sent, or a user connects/disconnects from a voice channel.

    Update Frequency Constraints:

    • Free Plan: Banners can be updated once per hour.
    • Lacuna Diamond Subscription: Banners can be updated every 2 minutes.

Note: An event must still trigger for the update to occur, regardless of the plan interval.

  10. Understand the Lacuna JavaScript execution environment

Lacuna uses an isolated V8 JavaScript engine environment for custom commands and automations. This environment strictly follows ECMAScript standards and does not include platform-specific APIs from browsers or Node.js.
  11. Manage server economy and store

Lacunabot supports a server economy system allowing for up to two custom currencies with independent earning settings. The system includes a store where items can be restricted by specific roles and channels.
/store # View and purchase items from the server store
/wallet # View balance and perform transfers
