What's inside interOP

  1. Overview of the Billing module

The Billing module allows users to produce sales invoices. By referencing a job number, the system automatically populates the job name, ordered quantity, and unit price. Invoices can be automatically transferred to accounting software via the [interOP • Comptabilité] connection gateway. By default, the module opens in list mode with a filter set to statuses: 'Proforma - En préparation', 'Proforma - Envoyée', and 'Finale - Prête pour envoi'.
  2. Overview of the interOP ecosystem for graphic arts

interOP is an ecosystem designed for the graphic arts industry that enables interoperability—the ability for two or more computer systems or elements to communicate. It consists of various high-performance modules covering the entire production lifecycle, from cost estimation to customer satisfaction. The system is designed to provide deep data analysis and streamline operations to increase productivity and efficiency.
  3. Generate a Summarized Cost Report (Prix de revient sommarisés)

The Summarized Cost Report provides an overview of all project files (dossiers). To generate the report:

    1. Open the report to access the Filters window.
    2. Define your criteria and click Appliquer (Apply).

Note: A greyed-out line indicates that the project file has not yet been launched into production. You can view the specific cost of a project by clicking its line and navigating to the project's Actions menu, then selecting 'Ouvrir prix de revient'.

  4. Configure global standards for quotes

The Standards section is used to define all required parameters for producing a quote. This includes markups, hourly rates (cost and selling), printing equipment lists, internal and external miscellaneous operations, and other baseline costs.
  5. Manage production work tracking and active contracts

The Production Tracking List (Liste de suivi) automatically adds every production work launch. Entries remain in this list until the folder is invoiced, providing a comprehensive view of all active contracts to monitor work progress and reduce information search time.
  6. Integrate DayBack for advanced production scheduling in interOP

interOP provides a gateway extension that connects the standard Production Tracking module with DayBack (developed by SeedCode). This integration enables advanced production calendar views and supports drag-and-drop functionality for contracts, allowing users to schedule work by equipment, department, or operator.
  7. Use text blocks for subcontracting orders

Text blocks are primarily used for subcontracting requests to allow condensed information that occupies the majority of the printed form. To modify a text block, use the Éditer la commande button. You can preview the text using the arrow icon in the right corner to ensure no content is cut off before printing.
  8. Update an unprocessed requisition

Requisitions that have not yet been processed (status is À traiter) can be updated directly from the linked job folder. This allows you to change the paper type or quantity before the purchase order is finalized.
  9. Use the primary action button in a module

The primary action button for a module is always located in the top-right corner of the screen. This button is used to perform the main task associated with the current view, such as creating a new client. It is available in list, consultation, and editing modes.
  10. Manage linked records (Shipping and Invoicing) from a dossier

The right-hand panel of the dossier provides quick access to linked records. To access a record, click directly on the line item.

    • Shipping Slips: Create a shipping slip by clicking the icon (the dossier must be launched in production).
    • Invoices: Create an invoice by clicking the icon (the dossier must be launched in production).

Caveat: If a dossier is already in Complété status (delivered and invoiced), you cannot create new shipping slips or invoices via the standard Shipping or Invoicing modules; you must initiate them directly from the Dossier module.

  11. Manage and send subcontracting price requests

Once a request is created, you can manage its status and delivery:

    • Status Tracking: A request starts with the status Nouvelle demande (New Request). It automatically changes to Envoyée (Sent) once it is emailed to a supplier.
    • Visualization: Click the eye icon to view the request. You can open a PDF version in a new browser tab to view, print, or download the request.
    • Sending: Click the envelope icon to send the request via email.
      • A grey envelope indicates no email has been sent.
      • A colored envelope indicates the email has been sent.
