What's inside FiniAC

  1. Overview of the Entity Firewall system

The Entity Firewall is a rule-based system used to allow or deny the spawning of entities (vehicles, peds, and objects) on a server. It evaluates entities against an ordered list of rules from top to bottom; the first rule that matches determines the outcome. If no rules match, a configurable default action (Allow or Deny) is applied.
  2. Overview of FiniAC In-Game Admin Menu features

FiniAC includes a built-in admin menu that allows staff to manage the server without using the web panel. Key capabilities include:

    • Overview: Monitor server status, real-time detections, and connection logs.
    • Entities: Inspect spawned entities and identify which player spawned them.
    • Apollo: View live streams of players' screens.
    • Player Management: View TrustScores, recent detections, teleport to players, spectate, kick, or ban players.
  3. Overview of Detection Whitelisting Zones

Detection whitelisting zones allow server administrators to disable specific FiniAC detections within defined map areas. This prevents false positives caused by custom server scripts (like CCTV or vehicle customization) while keeping detections active for the rest of the map and for any detection types not explicitly whitelisted in that zone.
  4. Overview of FiniAC Entity Whitelisting

Entity whitelisting is an advanced protection system that restricts entity spawning (vehicles, props, peds) to only those created by legitimate server resources. Unlike a basic blacklist, it tracks the association between an entity and its source resource. If a cheater spawns an entity—even one that is normally allowed—it will be blocked if it does not originate from a whitelisted resource.
  5. Overview of USQL search syntax

USQL is used across FiniAC for log search, event log search, event drain filters, and the log search API. It supports free-text search, boolean operators, and field-specific expressions. By default, multiple terms are combined with AND.
  6. Overview of Apollo remote administration tool

Apollo is a remote administration tool by FiniAC that allows real-time interaction with game servers. It provides three primary functional areas:

    • Players: Real-time monitoring and interaction (FiveM only).
    • Script Execution: Executing custom code on the server (All supported games).
    • Event Protection: Managing protection on server resources (FiveM only).
  7. Overview of FiniAC Trigger System

FiniAC's trigger system is an automation tool that monitors game servers for specific events and executes actions based on customizable 'if-then' conditions. Triggers monitor two primary event types: Player connections (when FiniAC handles a player joining) and Server logs (all logs generated by FiniAC on the server).
  8. Overview of Event Drains Enterprise

Event drains allow you to forward real-time server events (e.g., entity creation, weapon damage, particle effects, explosions) to external services via webhooks. Unlike triggers, which handle FiniAC events (player connections/detections), event drains operate specifically on server-side events. This is an Enterprise-tier feature.
  9. Automatic admin whitelisting via txAdmin

FiniAC automatically whitelists players who have txAdmin access. No additional configuration is required. This requires txAdmin version v6.0.1 or newer, and the player must be logged into txAdmin.
  10. Manage RedM and FiveM servers in one panel

FiveM and RedM servers are managed from the same FiniAC account and web panel. Subscriptions for both platforms exist side-by-side under a single profile, allowing staff to use the same dashboard, Apollo integration, logs, and ban tools for both platforms.
  11. Understand Local vs Global Bans in FiniAC

FiniAC utilizes two types of bans to protect servers:

    • Local Bans: Server-specific bans managed by your own administrators. They only apply to your servers and can be used as a replacement for tools like txAdmin.
    • Global Bans: Network-wide bans issued across all FiniAC-protected servers. These are issued for confirmed cheaters/exploiters, applied automatically for specific detections, or reviewed by FiniAC staff.

Escalating to Global: To request a local ban be escalated to a global ban, open the menu icon in the top left corner of the ban details and select "Request Global". FiniAC staff will review the evidence.

  12. Allow globally banned players to join via Player Whitelisting

Player whitelisting allows players who have been globally banned to join your server. This is intended for reformed players or false positives. When enabled, whitelisting bypasses the global ban expiration requirement. Note that this is distinct from detection whitelisting.
