  1. Overview of PassNAT and frp compatibility

    PassNAT is a managed frp platform built using the native interfaces of the open-source project fatedier/frp. Because it uses native interfaces without modifying the client or server, it maintains high compatibility. Users with existing frp configurations can migrate to PassNAT seamlessly by updating their configuration files.

  2. Deploy Frpc using binary files on Linux

    Install Frpc by downloading the pre-compiled binary for your specific CPU architecture (amd64 or arm64). After downloading, ensure the file has execution permissions before running it with your PassNAT configuration file.

  3. Set up PassNAT on Synology NAS DSM versions below 7.1

    For Synology NAS versions older than 7.1, the native package is not supported. You must use Docker to start the native Frp client for intranet penetration.

  5. Deploy Alist server using Docker on Linux

    Deploy the Alist server on a Linux system using Docker. The deployment maps the host directory /etc/alist to the container's data directory and exposes port 5244. After deployment, the service can be accessed at http://<server-ip>:5244.

  6. Manage and upgrade PassNAT subscriptions

    • Pricing: Current pricing is available in the Console under "Purchase Subscription".
    • Upgrading: Cross-package upgrades are not supported. You must wait for the current package to expire before switching, or refund the current subscription and purchase a new one. Tunnels are not immediately deleted upon subscription expiration.
    • Renewal: Renew subscriptions via Console -> Financial Center -> Subscription Management, or via support tickets/QQ group.

  7. Verify domain ownership for SSL certificates using PassNAT domains

    When applying for an SSL certificate using a PassNAT-provided domain, the CA provider will require DNS verification. Currently, only TXT record verification is supported. To complete this:

    1. Obtain the DNS verification record from your CA provider.
    2. Navigate to 'Tunnel Management' -> 'Domain Management' in the PassNAT console.
    3. Click the 'Verify DNS' button for the corresponding root domain and add the TXT record.

  8. Troubleshoot Microsoft Defender false positives on Windows

    When installing PassNAT clients on Windows, Microsoft Defender may flag the software as a false positive. Users should refer to the Windows platform error resolution guide to resolve these reporting issues before proceeding with the installation.

  9. Invite new users to PassNAT for referral rewards

    Users can earn referral rewards by inviting others to register and purchase plans. To invite others, navigate to the 'Invite Friends' (邀请好友) section under 'Referral Rewards' (邀请返利) to find your unique invitation link or invitation code. You can either share the direct referral link with friends or have them enter your invitation code during the registration process.

  10. Install PassNAT (Frpc) on Synology NAS DSM 7.1+

    For Synology NAS running DSM version 7.1 or higher, you can install the Frpc client as a package. To set up the connection: 1. Add the package source https://spk7.imnks.com. 2. Install the Frpc客户端 (Frpc Client) package. 3. Open the package and paste the configuration information provided by the PassNAT console. To stop the tunnel, clear the configuration information and save.

  11. Install PassNAT offline on fnOS

    If the App Store is inaccessible, you can install the PassNAT plugin manually: 1. Download the official plugin package (.fpk file) from the provided link. 2. Open the 'App Center' (应用中心) from the fnOS desktop. 3. Click the 'Manual Install' (手动安装) button in the bottom left corner. 4. Select the downloaded PassNAT.fpk file to complete the installation. 5. Launch the plugin from the desktop and enter your SecretKey to activate the service.

  12. Deploy Frpc using Docker

    Deploy the Frpc client as a Docker container using host networking. You must map a local configuration file (frpc.toml) from the host machine to the container's /etc/frp/frpc.toml path. While the official image is available, a Ucloud-provided mirror is recommended for users in China to avoid network connectivity issues.
