  5. Book an Endoscopy or EGD procedure

    To book an Endoscopy/EGD procedure for a patient from a ward, follow these steps:

    1. Use the booking link: https://bit.ly/Booking-ESWL-ECT-ENDOS
    2. Send a screenshot of the completed booking to the endoscopy group.
    3. Alternatively, notify the endoscopy booking group using the standardized booking format.
    4. Ensure the patient transfer form is completed in the Sirani system.
    5. Patients must arrive 15 minutes before the procedure or immediately after notification. Use wheelchairs for mobile patients and stretchers (brankars) for immobile patients.
    6. If a patient's condition or consciousness declines before the procedure, notify dr. Alkaff via the ward's on-duty doctor.

  6. Prepare patients for a Colonoscopy procedure

    Patient preparation for a Colonoscopy is divided into a two-day timeline:

    2 Days Before (H-2):

    • Diet: Soy sauce porridge (bubur kecap) or sum-sum porridge without coconut milk.
    • Liquid diet supplements of 250cc are permitted.

    1 Day Before (H-1):

    • 06:00 to 18:00: Liquid diet only.
    • 20:00 to 22:00: Administer laxatives as advised by the doctor (Fleet Phosphosoda, Niflec, or Dulcolax tablets).

    Laxative Administration Instructions:

    • Niflec: Mix one sachet with 2 liters of water and divide into 8 glasses. Drink one glass every 15 minutes until finished (8 glasses total). Ensure the patient does not vomit.
    • Fleet Phosphosoda or Dulcolax: Administer a repeat dose at 04:00 AM on the day of the procedure.

    Important Constraints:

    • Routine medications (Hypertension, Heart, Diabetes) must still be administered.
    • Water intake is limited to a maximum of 100cc.

  7. Prepare patients for Endoscopy/EGD procedures

    Patients must fast for 6 hours prior to the procedure. During this fasting period, they are permitted to have a maximum of 100cc of plain water and take their routine medications (e.g., hypertension, heart, or diabetes medications).

  8. Prepare equipment and materials for Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)

    To perform Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), the following medical supplies and tools must be prepared:
    1. Propofol (1 vial)
2. Aquabides 25ml (1 flask)
3. Lidocaine (1 ampule)
4. Adult Electrodes (3 pieces)
5. Pediatric Electrodes (2 pieces)
6. Simple mask (1 piece)
7. Syringes 10 cc (2 pieces)
8. Mouth Gag/Retainer
9. Xylocaine Gel/EKG Gel

  9. Use the ECT booking communication format

    When requesting an ECT procedure, use the following standardized format to provide patient and scheduling details to the coordinating department.

  10. Manage supplies for Inpatient EGD packages

    The following items must be input and requested from the ward to be brought during the procedure. If the patient uses an NGT, a new NGT must be prescribed. Sedation medication must be prescribed according to the anesthesiologist's advice and brought to the procedure.

  11. Prepare equipment and materials for ECT

4. Elektroda dewasa 3 buah 
5. Elektroda Pediatrik 2 
6. Simple mask 1 buah

  12. Prepare equipment for Inpatient Colonoscopy package

    The following supplies are required for the Inpatient Colonoscopy package. Note that sedation medication must be brought along at the time of the procedure.
