  1. Use the new Maverick MCP server instead of mcp-trader

    The mcp-trader repository is archived and no longer receives updates. It has been superseded by a completely new implementation called Maverick MCP.

    To use the latest version of this service, you must switch to the new repository. This is a fresh implementation, not a migration of the existing codebase, and offers enhanced capabilities.

  2. Setup the Maverick MCP server

    To transition from mcp-trader to the new server, follow these steps:

    1. Clone the new repository:
      git clone https://github.com/wshobson/maverick-mcp.git
    2. Follow setup instructions: Refer to the README.md within the maverick-mcp repository for specific installation steps.
    3. Update Claude Desktop configuration: You must update your claude_desktop_config.json to point to the new server implementation instead of the old mcp-trader path.
