Automation scripts for TrueNAS 13+ (Core/Scale) to monitor drive health and manage SMART testing. Multi-Report generates email reports with drive status, configuration backups, and statistical data, while Drive-Selftest provides standalone SMART test scheduling for HDD and NVMe drives.

    • Standalone Operation: Can be run without requiring the Multi-Report script.
    • Advanced Scheduling: Allows scheduling of both Short and Long SMART tests on Daily, Weekly, and/or Monthly intervals.
    • High Scalability: Capable of scheduling tests for over 1000 drives.
    • NVMe Support: Can schedule SMART tests for NVMe drives, which is a feature not currently available via the TrueNAS GUI.

    Multi-Report is a script designed for TrueNAS 13+ (Core and Scale) that automates drive status monitoring and system reporting.

    Key functions include:

    • Generating drive status reports and sending them via email.
    • Creating and attaching a copy of your TrueNAS Config File to the report email.
    • Creating and attaching a statistical database to the report email.
    • Checking drives for SMR (Shingled Magnetic Recording) or specific Seagate Drive Flood SCAM issues.
    • Providing update notifications.

    Note: As of version 3.1, drive testing functionality has been moved out of Multi-Report and into the standalone Drive-Selftest script to allow for easier maintenance and better support for NVMe SMART testing.
