FM Filter 2 allows you to apply Yutani's non-linear filters to external audio sources.

    Key Features:

    • Filters: 26 multi-mode filters (well-behaved to gnarly analog modelled).
    • Control: Filters and gates can be controlled via Audio (peak or RMS) or MIDI.
    • Modulation: Three LFOs, modwheel, and MIDI velocity support.
    • Effects: Stereo widening and a distortion module.
  2. DD-101 - Synthesis-based drum machine

    master

A small synthesis-based drum machine featuring 12 drum sounds with variants.

    Key features include:

    • Remappable MIDI notes.
    • Ability to link note velocity to drum kit parameters.
    • Retro pixel aesthetic.
  3. Tight Compressor - Peak compressor

    master
A tight peak compressor based on the paper "Digital Dynamic Range Compressor Design—A Tutorial and Analysis" by Giannoulis et al. It is designed for aggressive attack and tight compression, featuring continuous visualization to assist in dialing in settings.
  4. Saike MIDI ARP - MIDI arpeggiator

    master

A utility for arpeggiating incoming MIDI data. It allows users to play chords and have them arpeggiated out.

    Key features include:

    • Velocity, Modwheel, and Control Change (CC) automation.
    • Note probabilities and automatic randomization.
    • Support for playing over multiple octaves and swing settings.
    • Ability to set speed dynamically and synchronize patterns to the host (free or MIDI).
    • Pattern/block copy-pasting.
    • Supports docking into TCP/MCP.
  5. ReflectoSaurus - Creative delay and reverb tool

    master

A tool for building complex chains of delays and reverbs using a node-based system. Each node represents a delay where:

    • X axis: Controls delay time.
    • Y axis: Controls volume.
    • Radius: Controls feedback amount.
    • Arc: Indicates the frequency range allowed to pass each feedback round.
    • Knob: Controls node panning.

Nodes can be routed to each other to create complex feedback loops. Routing sends are applied after filters but before feedback gain. The arc on a routing arrow indicates the volume of the send.

    Key features include:

    • Tempo synchronization (3/4, 4/4, or 5/4 rhythm).
    • Filters, distortion, saturation, modulation, and more on every tap.
    • Granular resynthesis and pitch shifting.
    • FFT Reverb node (indicated in red) for lush sounds.
    • Tuned mode for Karplus-style string synthesis.

Note: Mute all unused nodes to significantly lower CPU usage.

  6. Bric-a-brac - Texture machine overview

    master

Bric-a-brac adds textures to existing sounds (e.g., adding noise to beats or organic creaks to synths).

    Key Features:

    • 4 Sample Slots: Can be triggered or looped.
    • Envelope Control: Per sample, choose between envelope follower, thresholded, or triggered envelopes.
    • Modulation: One LFO modulator and a lowpass/highpass filter per sample (modulated by envelope and/or LFO).
    • Timing: Variable pre-delay per sample.
  7. FM Filter - FM modulated filter

    master

An FM modulated filter useful for making monophonic bass sounds thicker. It operates in two main modes:

    1. MIDI Mode: Designed to be placed behind a bass synth. It follows MIDI notes (adjusting cutoff per note) and performs FM modulation based on the incoming MIDI pitch. The envelope is triggered by MIDI.
    2. Audio Mode: Used for more destructive processing. It can modulate the cutoff frequency using its own signal (self-modulation) or take a modulation signal from inputs 3/4 (stereo 3/4 or mono 3+4).

    Key features include:

    • 2 linear and 4 non-linear filter types.
    • Mode morphing between LP, BP, HP, and BR.
    • Basic decay envelope and LFO modulation.
    • Audio rate cutoff modulation.
  8. Lava verb - Shimmer reverbs

    master

A shimmer reverb plugin featuring 5 different algorithms for large reverb spaces.

    Key features include:

    • 4 time-domain algorithms and 1 STFT-based algorithm.
    • Shimmer (via pitch shifting), saturation, and ice effects.
    • Preset EQ curves.
    • UI featuring fluid dynamics.
  9. Partials - Modal synthesis effect overview

    master

Partials is a modal resonator effect with 5-note polyphony, suitable for string-like or marimba-like sounds.

    Control Modes:

    • Non-MIDI Mode: Uses internal resonators to transform audio input. Use the UI keyboard to set up to 5 fundamental pitches.
    • MIDI Mode: (Toggle in bottom right) Sets fundamental resonator frequencies to played MIDI notes. Max polyphony is 5.

    Key Features:

    • Models: 10 physical models plus custom partial models (drawn by user).
    • Processing: Choice between Frequency domain mode (efficient) and Time domain mode (allows feedback but may be unstable).
    • Sampling: Drag impulse samples onto the four pads in 'sampling mode' (set play-mode knob to the right).
    • Other: Stereo spinning/vibrato, filter envelopes, and presets.
  10. Swellotron - Soundscape effect

    master

A machine for combining two sounds into ambient soundscapes using STFT (Short-Time Fourier Transform). It emphasizes frequencies common to both signals while attenuating differences, behaving similarly to a harmonic reverb.

    Key features include:

    • Shimmer: Copies energy to twice the frequency (iterative octave doubling).
    • Aether: Similar to shimmer but for fifths.
    • Scorch: Input saturation.
    • Ruin: Output saturation.
    • Diffusion: Spectral blur.
    • Ice: Chops small bandwidth bits from energy at random and copies them to higher frequencies for a 'cold' sound.
  11. Dusk Verb - Atmospheric multi-effect overview

    master

    Key features include:

    • Pitch instability.
    • Adaptive saturation.
    • Modelled noise processed through a compander.
