ITKElastix

Install the WASI WebAssembly implementation of the itkwasm-elastix toolbox using pip. Note that this package is typically an underlying implementation and is usually not called directly; it is recommended to use itkwasm-elastix instead for general usage.

pip install itkwasm-elastix-wasi

The Node interface of @itk-wasm/elastix provides asynchronous functions for image registration and transformation optimized for Node.js environments. Unlike the browser interface, these functions do not use WebWorkers for computation (as they run in the Node environment directly).

Key functions include:

• defaultParameterMapNode: Generates default Elastix parameter maps.
• elastixNode: Performs image registration.
• readParameterFilesNode: Reads Elastix parameter text files.
• transformixNode: Applies transforms to images.
• writeParameterFilesNode: Writes parameter objects to text files.

Import these functions from @itk-wasm/elastix using the *Node suffix.

To use itkwasm-elastix in a standard Python environment, install it using pip.

pip install itkwasm-elastix

Install the cross-platform native binary Python packages using pip. This is the standard installation for native execution.

pip install itk-elastix

To install the Emscripten WebAssembly implementation of itkwasm-elastix-emscripten in a Pyodide environment, use micropip.install.

Install the itkwasm-elastix toolbox using pip. This package provides tools for rigid and nonrigid registration of images using WebAssembly.

To use the ITK-WASM Elastix toolbox for rigid and nonrigid image registration in your JavaScript or TypeScript project, install the package using npm.

npm install @itk-wasm/elastix

Install the JavaScript or TypeScript bindings using npm.

npm install @itk-wasm/elastix

If you are working in a browser-based Python environment like the Pyodide REPL or JupyterLite, use micropip to install the package asynchronously.

To develop this package, you need hatch installed. Use the following commands to download Pyodide and run the test suite:

1. Install hatch: pip install hatch
2. Download Pyodide: hatch run download-pyodide
3. Run tests: hatch run test

To develop this package, install the necessary testing dependencies (pytest, itkwasm-compare-images, and itk-io), install the package in editable mode, and run the tests. Alternatively, you can use hatch to run the test suite.
