  1. How Hekili works: Action Priority List (APL) logic

    Hekili is a priority helper that recommends abilities based on Action Priority List (APL) logic inherited from SimulationCraft and RaidBots.

    Instead of reacting to a single icon, Hekili displays multiple upcoming sequential actions to help you plan ahead. It simulates your character's state—including cooldowns, resources, buffs/debuffs, and nearby enemies—to project several spells into the future. If you deviate from the recommended sequence, the addon immediately re-evaluates your game state and updates suggestions in real time.

    Hekili offers extensive customization to match your playstyle and UI:

    Display Options

    • Multiple Displays: You can set up separate displays for AoE abilities, Cooldowns, Defensives, and Interrupts.
    • Interrupt Guidance: Provides guidance late in an enemy cast and can filter recommendations to Mythic+ priority spells.
    • Visual Styling: Adjust icon size, spacing, layout, fonts, transparency, and show spell keybindings on icons.

    Control Toggles

    • Manual Control: You can enable or disable toggles for major abilities (like 2-minute cooldowns) to control whether they are included in the recommendation queue.
    • Binding: These toggles can be bound to hotkeys or macros for fight-by-fight control.
    • Dedicated Cooldown Display: Alternatively, you can use a dedicated Cooldowns display to manage major abilities manually.

    Advanced Customization

    • Ability Filtering: Disable individual abilities (e.g., hiding an on-use trinket if it is macroed into a cooldown).
    • Custom Action Lists: Advanced users can edit or create their own action lists using SimulationCraft-style syntax.

    Manual Installation
