Build polyfill.js

Build the extension for local development

To build the extension with compatibility for previous browser versions and include local source maps, use the npm run build:local-sourcemaps command.
Note: Ensure you have run npm install before executing any build commands.

Install Translate Web Pages on Firefox

Desktop
Download and install the extension directly from Mozilla Addons.
Android
1. Ensure you are using Firefox v120+.
2. Open the extension manager in Firefox.
3. Scroll down and click Find more add-ons.
4. Search for TWP on the add-ons website.
5. Install the TWP - Translate For Mobile extension.

Build the extension for production

To build the extension for production, use the npm run build command. This version uses remote source maps (hosted on a separate GitHub repository) to reduce the extension's download size while still allowing for debugging.

Install Translate Web Pages on Chrome, Edge, and Brave

Official releases for Chrome, Edge, and Brave are planned for the future.
Note for previous users: If you previously installed the extension via registry modifications, you must undo those changes.
- To undo registry changes, download and run twp-registry-uninstall-self.reg.
- For a deeper removal, download and run twp-registry-uninstall-all.reg.
