  1. Overview of the Adafruit BMP085 Library

    The Adafruit BMP085 Library provides an interface for the BMP085 and BMP180 Barometric Pressure + Temperature sensors. It is designed specifically for use with the Adafruit BMP085 or BMP180 Breakout boards. These sensors communicate via the I2C protocol and require two pins for interfacing.

  2. Install the Adafruit BMP085 Library

    master

    To install the library manually in the Arduino IDE:

    1. Download the library as a ZIP file.
    2. Uncompress the folder and rename it to Adafruit_BMP085.
    3. Ensure the folder contains Adafruit_BMP085.cpp and Adafruit_BMP085.h.
    4. Place the Adafruit_BMP085 folder into your arduinosketchfolder/libraries/ directory (create the libraries subfolder if it does not exist).
    5. Restart the Arduino IDE.

    Dependency Note: This library requires the Adafruit_BusIO library for I2C abstraction. You must install Adafruit_BusIO for this library to function.
