What's inside SeedCrackerX

  1. Install SeedCrackerX

    master

To install SeedCrackerX, follow these steps:

    1. Download and install the Fabric mod loader.
    2. Download the latest release or pre-release of SeedCrackerX.
    3. Place the .jar file into your mods folder:
      • For vanilla launcher: %appdata%/.minecraft/mods/
      • For MultiMC: The mods folder of your specific instance.

    Optional: Version Compatibility

To connect to servers running older versions of Minecraft, you can optionally install Multiconnect or ViaFabric.

  2. How to crack seeds in Minecraft 1.18.X and higher

    master

In versions 1.18.X and higher, dungeon and fungus cracking are no longer supported.

    Important Configuration

Before starting, open the config menu via /seedcracker gui (for 1.19.3+) or /seed gui (for versions before 1.19.3). Ensure that Emeralds, Gateways, Biomes, Desert wells, and Warped fungi are disabled, as they are outdated and may provide incorrect data.

    Overworld Cracking

You must collect a combination of bits from supported structures. You need a total of 40 bits of liftable structures and 32 regular bits.

    Supported Structures:

    • Igloo: 9 regular and liftable bits
    • Desert Pyramid: 9 regular and liftable bits
    • Jungle Temple: 9 regular and liftable bits
    • Swamp Hut: 9 regular and liftable bits
    • Shipwreck: 8 regular and liftable bits
    • Pillager Outpost: 9 liftable bits
    • Ocean Monument: 9 regular bits

    Process:

    1. Find structures; a structure is identified when an outline appears around it.
    2. Track your progress using the command /seed data bits (to check liftable structure bit count).
    3. Once enough bits are collected, cracking starts automatically (takes 1-5 minutes). The mod may request additional structures if needed.

    The Nether

Fungus cracking is not supported in 1.18+. To crack Nether seeds, you must use the external Nether_Bedrock_Cracker.

    The End

    1. Find 5 or more End Cities to fill up regular bits.
    2. Return to the center of the End dimension to obtain the pillar seed.
    3. Note: You must disable End Gateways in the config for this to work.
  3. How to crack seeds in Minecraft 1.17.X and below

    master

For older versions of Minecraft, use the following methods to trigger the cracking process:

    Overworld

Explore the world until the mod detects a Dungeon. Cracking starts automatically once found. If no seed is provided, you may need to find a different dungeon.

    The Nether

Explore the Warped Fungus biome until the mod detects Big Fungus. This will trigger the cracking process.

    The End

    1. Find 5 or more End Cities or End Gateways.
    2. Return to the center of the End dimension to obtain the pillar seed.
    3. Cracking will then begin.

    Supported Decorators (1.17.X and below)

    • Dungeon
    • End Gateway
    • Desert Well
    • Emerald Ore
    • Warped Fungus
  4. How to find seeds in Minecraft 1.18.X and above

    master

In Minecraft 1.18.X and above, dungeon and mushroom-based seed finding no longer works.

Important Configuration: Use the /seed gui command to open the configuration menu and ensure that Emeralds, Gateways, Biomes, Desert Wells, and Warped Mushrooms are turned OFF. Using these may provide incorrect data.

    Finding Process:

    1. Find any combination of the following 5 structures: Desert Pyramids, Jungle Temples, Witch Huts, Shipwrecks, Igloos, or Pillager Outposts.
    2. A structure is considered 'found' when outlines appear around it.
    3. You can monitor your progress using /seed data bits (look at the bit counts for removable structures).
    4. Once enough data is collected, the process starts automatically and takes between 1 to 5 minutes.
    5. If the process fails, the mod may ask for more structures. This is more likely if you have few bits or are finding the same type of structures repeatedly.
    6. After reducing the structure seeds, the mod uses brute force to find the world seed via dungeon locations or a hashed seed.
  5. How to find seeds in Minecraft 1.17.X and below

    master

For versions 1.17.X and below, the seed cracking process is automated based on specific features:

    • Spawners: Wander the map until you find a spawner. Once detected, the seed cracking process starts automatically. If a seed is not found, you may need to locate another spawner.
    • Other supported features: End towers and Warped fungi.

Note: Spawners and Warped fungi are no longer supported for seed cracking in versions 1.18.X and above.

  6. How to crack seeds in 1.18.X and future versions

    master

In versions 1.18.X and later, Dungeon and Warped Fungus cracking are no longer functional. Follow these steps:

    1. Open the configuration menu using /seed gui.
    2. Important: Ensure that Emerald Ore, End Gateway, Biome, Desert Well, and Warped Fungus are disabled, as they are outdated and may provide incorrect data.
    3. Find at least 5 structures from the following list (any combination works, e.g., 3 Shipwrecks + 1 Pyramid + 1 Igloo):
      • Desert Pyramid
      • Jungle Temple
      • Witch Hut
      • Shipwreck
      • Igloo
      • Pillager Outpost
    4. When a structure is found, an outline will appear around it.
    5. Once enough data is collected, the cracking process starts automatically (takes 1-5 minutes). The mod may request additional structures if needed.

Tip: Finding a variety of different structure types (rather than many of the same type) increases the likelihood of success.

  7. How to use SeedCrackerX (Minecraft 1.17.X and below)

    master

For Minecraft versions 1.17.X and below, follow these dimension-specific procedures to find the seed:

    Overworld

Explore the world until SeedCrackerX finds Spawner Dungeons (Гробницы со спаунерами). The mod will then automatically find the seed. If it fails, try finding a different dungeon.

    Nether

Explore the Warped Forest (Искаженный лес) until SeedCrackerX finds Large Warped Fungi (Большие искаженные грибы). The mod will then automatically find the seed.

    The End

    1. Find 5 or more End Cities (Города края) or End Gateways (Шлюзы края).
    2. Return to the central End island to obtain the End pillar seed.
    3. The mod will then begin the seed search process.

    Supported Decorators (Декораторы):

    • Гробницы (Dungeons/Spawners)
    • Шлюзы края (End Gateways)
    • Пустынные колодцы (Desert Wells)
    • Изумрудная руда (Emerald Ore)
    • Искаженные грибы (Warped Fungi)
  8. Find Minecraft seeds in 1.18.X and above

    master

To find a seed in versions 1.18.X or higher, you must collect specific bits of information from structures.

    Configuration Requirements

Open the GUI using /seedcracker gui (for 1.19.3+) or /seed gui (for versions before 1.19.3). Ensure that Emeralds, End Gateways, Biomes, Desert Wells, and Warped Nylium are DISABLED, as they are not updated and may provide false data.

    Bit Requirements

You need to collect 40 liftable structure bits and 32 regular bits from the following supported structures:

    • Igloo: 9 regular and liftable bits
    • Desert Pyramid: 9 regular and liftable bits
    • Jungle Pyramid: 9 regular and liftable bits
    • Witch Hut: 9 regular and liftable bits
    • Shipwreck: 8 regular and liftable bits
    • Pillager Outpost: 9 liftable bits
    • Ocean Monument: 9 regular bits

Any combination works (e.g., 3 shipwrecks, 1 pyramid, and 1 igloo). You can track your progress with /seed data bits.

    Process Flow

    1. Detection: A structure is considered found when an outline appears around it.
    2. Automatic Search: Once enough bits are collected, the search starts automatically (usually takes 1-5 minutes).
    3. Refinement: If you find duplicate structures, the mod may require additional structures to narrow down the seed. After narrowing, it uses dungeons or the hashed seed for a brute-force search.

    Troubleshooting: Structure not outlined

If a structure is not outlined, ensure the outline feature is enabled. If it is enabled but still not working, it may be due to aggressive Anti-Xray plugins, corrupted structures (missing/extra blocks), or non-vanilla world generation. If the structure is intact, approach it closely and run /seedcracker finder reload to re-scan.

  9. How to crack seeds in 1.17.X and below

    master

For Minecraft versions 1.17.X and below, the cracking process is largely automatic:

    1. Explore the world until the mod finds a Dungeon. Once found, the cracking process starts automatically.
    2. If the world seed is not obtained, you may need to find a different dungeon.

    SeedCrackerX also supports cracking via:

    • Structures and Obsidian Pillars
    • Warped Fungus
  10. Register SeedCrackerX API entrypoint in fabric.mod.json
